My friend Stephanie asked if I could draw her portrait around Christmas time. We and another of her friends gathered in her basement to watch cheesey romance movies and craft. I started working on this portrait with her in front of me, and finished it at my home. The curtains behind her I actually had sewn myself and had hung in my previous home, but they now live in her 1960s inspired basement.
